After leaving Hollywood we headed to the Santa Monica Pier. We decided to eat a late lunch/early dinner at
Bubba Gump. Our waitress did a great job but we all swear she was high. :) We had a great view of the beach from our table and the food was really good.

After Santa Monica we decided to take Hwy 1 back down to our hotel near Huntington Beach. We thought it would be the 'scenic' route. Highway 1 is normally quite scenic - however not this section of it. We had our first taste of LA traffic. It took 2 hours to go the 38 miles. We finally got to our hotel around 8:00pm. After getting up at 3:45am - we were all ready to call it a day. This is the view from our room.
